Friends,
In this life, we all know it comes with many uncertainties; unfortunately,
we are all faced with the reality of knowing that as humans we are not exempt
from being the next victim of the dreaded disease known as cancer. Just
today, I met with one of my dealers who had finished with his twentieth
radiation treatment, all of which he took in the mouth to fight cancer.
Nearly six months ago, my boss was diagnosed with cancer of the femur and has
since optimistically fought the disease with treatment. Lastly, seven
years ago a cousin of mine passed away at the young age of twenty after battling
this disease for her entire life. All of us can think of someone in our
family or circle of friends who was/is weighed down with this disease. I
apologize if I’ve upset you, but I say this from the bottom of my heart to
explain my sincere desire as we can strive to give back to those who are in
special need of a cure and healing.
On
May 18th, I plan to host a charity fishing tournament at
Watts Bar Lake
,
TN
in an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life
Campaign. All of those who know me well know that I will go all in and do
everything in my power to make this a huge success. If you should
have room in your budget to assist, it will be greatly appreciated, if not, then
come fish, help us promote the event or just reply to say hi as some of you I
have not had the luxury of seeing in an extended period of time. No matter
what, your kind support and friendship is always greatly appreciated. For
your review, I have attached a flyer. Feel free to offer any advice or
suggestions with the layout of the tournament. Sorry for the short notice
and I hope to see you there!
