Cathy & Vernon Summerlin, both award winning writers, live near Leipers Fork, TN.

Cathy writes articles for Nashville's Tennessean newspaper and is an R.N. at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She is Vice President of Tennessee Outdoor Writers Association.

Vernon, a fulltime free-lancer, has written for more than 50 magazines, a 10-year outdoor columnist for Middle Tennessee newspapers, and co-host of two radio programs with Doug Markham.

He is President of Southeastern
