Old Hickory

Got out for about 5 hours yesterday. Bite was slow and tough. Has been since early July for me. Managed to catch a couple of keepers and several small fish. The bait is starting to ball up in some parts of the creeks. Real spotty and they’re not there in big concentration like they will be later this year. Topwaters can be good if you see some bait busting on the surface. I caught several , just no size to them.
